Mentoring Today, Inspiring Tomorrow
At Bright Steps Devon CIC, we focus on providing exceptional services to young people aged 8-25. Our mission is to bridge the gap between education and personal development, ensuring that every individual has the chance to thrive.
Our Vision
Bright Steps Devon CIC is dedicated to enriching the lives of young people by providing them with the education, mentoring, and support they need to overcome barriers and achieve their potential.
Bright Step's activities are designed to benefit young people aged 8-25 by delivering education, mentoring, guidance and enabling support. Particular emphasis will be placed on individuals with educational needs, those experiencing barriers to learning and employment, and those effected by unmet mental health needs.
We seek to bridge the gap between education, personal development and future opportunities as soon as possible in a young persons life. In doing so we support each young person to develop essential skills, enhance their confidence and realise their potential to thrive in society.

Tailored educational programs designed to meet the unique needs of each young person.

Work experience
A big part of our work at Bright Steps is supporting young people in work experience opportunities. Work experience opens doors, sparks passions and creates opportunities for brighter futures.

Small group sessions and local clubs
Through truly getting to know our young people, we form small groups of like-minded peers who can connect over shared interests.
We also hold holiday clubs and days out over the school holidays.

Family support
Whether it’s a one-off chat with our team or regular attendance at our parents and carers support group, we understand that supporting a young person with additional needs and mental health challenges is not always easy.
We can also support parents and carers to complete forms and applications.
